A relaxing day in the center of Nairobi.

Today we are brave enough to take the public bus
to the city center of Nairobi!

While drinking mango juice, we watch the turmoil on the streets of Nairobi.












Of corse, we have to visit the Masai Market and do some shopping.
I have a try at negotiating, but anyway, the price I pay is way to much ...

The Nation Center is the headquarter of the Nation Media Group. It is the largest private media house in East and Central Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

The Uhuru Park is directly adjacent to the Central Park.



Around the water area in the park are many Marabou storks
(Leptoptilos crumenifer),
an amusement park and salesmen for toys.

The next day, we start our trip to the northwest of Kenya and our first stop is the Hell's Gate National Park.
