Alex, Christoph, Isabel, Juliane, Meghan, Shailyn, Svana and I explore India's bird life today.
Yesterday we drove to Vikarabad, which is 72 km away from Hyderabad, with our "Leisure Cum Heritage" tour. This morning we get up early, because sunrise is the right time for bird watching and only the early bird catches the worm! Before we start, everybody gets chai, the typical indian tea. I order a black tea without milk and I get pure milk ...
With the bus we drive to Anantagiri. There we hike through the area and find some birds, insects, spiders and plants.

We are back at the Anantagiri temple.
At 9:30 a.m. we arrive at our hotel and have breakfast. After a short while of digestion, Alex, Isabel, Juliane, Meghan and I explore the swimming pool. Also we learn about indian sim suits.
It is really relaxing to enjoy the cold water and the warm sun. Too bad it is noon time and the sun is very strong. We get to notice that afterwards. As we want to get out of the swimming area to get ready for lunch, we recognize, that we were locked.
After our lunch at 12:30 p.m. we leave Vikarabad one hour later. We drive to the Medak church, which is 133 km far away. Our guide tells us, that the Medak church is the secound biggest church in the world and the biggest church in Asia. We will see ...

Medak church by night
It is 6:00 p.m. when we leave the Medak church. It takes us 3.5 hours to drive back the 90 km to Hyderbad. But at least while those long bus drives, we can catch up a little bit of sleep.

Back at the hotel Alex, Juliane and I get ready to go dancing. We want to meet the others at the Paradise hotel, but as we arrive nobody is there. They are already clubbing and tell us, that the place is closing soon. So we walk back to our hotel and into our beds.
So for tomorrow we will be well rested.
On the NAJU-Blog you find a german version!
